Red Bear Productions was set up by Tracy in 2011, devoted to presenting dynamic theatre & film, striving to tell unique stories of the human experience.

Winner of the Little Gem Award 2019, Winner of Silver at the IMRO Awards (2017) and at New York Festivals Awards (2017) for HARDER FASTER MORE radio play and nominated for Prix Europa (2018) for WRAPPED radio play.

Nominated for the Fishamble New Writing Award for COAST (2016), the First Fortnight Award for COAST (2016), the Stewart Parker Award for WRAPPED (2015) and the Fishamble New Writing Award for HARDER FASTER MORE (2015).

Tracy is a writer & director.

 

In 2019,  Tracy's play DUBLIN WILL SHOW YOU HOW was presented at The Abbey Theatre and The Complex Theatre, Dublin. It was nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award 2020.

 

Her short film SISTER THIS premiered at the Cork Film Festival 2019, produced by Parallel Pictures.

 

Tracy has been twice-nominated for the Fishamble New Writing Award (for COAST & for HARDER FASTER MORE) and for the First Fortnight Award (for COAST).

She was nominated for the Stewart Parker Award 2014 (for WRAPPED, she also directed).

Other previous writing credits are THE WAVE, PARANOID? and THE LICKY RAKE SHOW, all of which she directed.

Previous directing credits include I AM MY OWN WIFE for Glass Doll, DANNY & CHANTELLE (2012) by Phillip McMahon, IN ON IT for Good Dog Theatre, TXTS, Project Arts Centre, MALICE IN WONDERLAND and @ROGUE, nominated for Best Spiegeltent Show.

She previously produced for Tall Tales Theatre Company, touring work nationally and internationally.

She is a graduate of the Filmbase Masters Programme 2018.

Aoibhéann McCann
Associate Artist

Aoibhéann is an actor, voiceover artist and writer - she trained at the Oxford School of Drama, after a degree in French & Sociology in Maynooth University.

Since 2014 Aoibhéann has worked extensively with Tracy on almost all of the Red Bear projects and will continue to contribute and collaborate with the Red bear team in years to come.

In 2022 she set up Athrach, a production company dedicated to making sustainable art. Red Bear is excited to collaborate on this new wave of green-focussed film and television.
